As we wrap up 2024, we first and foremost want to thank you for your support during our Giving Tuesday campaign last month, which raised funds to support two Scholar-in-Training Awards for chromophobe RCC. Your support means that promising researchers will have the opportunity to share the latest findings and research on chRCC with the global cancer research community, helping advance research, drive awareness, and make connections to help fund their future efforts.
2024 has been a remarkable year for COA. From awarding our first $75,000 research grant in partnership with the Kidney Cancer Association to establishing new collaborations with organizations like the American Association for Cancer Research, the International Kidney Cancer Coalition, and Pattern.org- we've made significant advancements this year in moving chRCC research and awareness forward. For a detailed look at our 2024 accomplishments, we encourage you to explore our Impact Report.
Coming in 2025
Looking ahead to 2025, we're excited to announce several new initiatives. Mark your calendars for our first-ever bowling tournament fundraiser in Austin, Texas! We'll also be launching our largest initiative yet, a patient registry that will enable the chRCC community to share valuable information about their diagnosis and treatment experiences to help drive research forward. You can sign up to be notified when the registry is ready here.
Stay tuned for our first blog post of 2025, where we'll share more details about these upcoming initiatives and other exciting developments in the works.
For those looking to make one final contribution in 2024, there's still time to support our mission! Your year-end gift will help us continue building momentum for chRCC research and awareness in the coming year. Donate Here
Thank you for being part of our community and for helping make 2024 a pivotal year for chromophobe RCC research.
Wishing you all a healthy and happy New Year,
The COA Team
